Gabrovo is the place where young and old, parents and children gather on March 2nd and on March 3rd – early in the morning they set off for Shipka to experience the unique feeling of being part of the Celebrations.

The hotel is an excellent starting point for visiting the Freedom Monument – Shipka

The national celebration will include the participation of the Bulgare ensemble and a ceremony of celebration and laying of wreaths, with thousands of citizens expected to climb the steps to the Freedom Monument.

The Gabrovo Municipality organizes buses from Gabrovo to Shipka Peak and back at a price of €5 (9.78 BGN) per person.

Departure at 8:30 a.m. from the square in front of the Municipality and return at 12:30 p.m. from Shipka.

The program of the Etara Ethnographic Complex is also interesting, starting with two thematic tours “We Won Freedom” from 11:30 to 14:30. From 14:00 to 16:00 – Virtual experience “Discover the Craft of Tüfekchiystvo”

The cultural marathon ends with a concert at the House of Culture with a folklore program by the Ensemble “Gabrovche”. Entrance €2.56 (5.00 BGN)

The price of a triple room and apartment includes two breakfasts and a festive dinner. Children up to 6.99 years old stay free of charge. If a third adult is accommodated, an additional fee of €30 is charged for meals.
